Does your heart beat for vintage fashion or those original one-off decorative items for your home? If yes, Hipster 9 is just the place for you. With a mustard yellow shop front, there is no way on Earth that you’ll miss this beloved store in Sheung Wan. The tiny shop is a treasure trove of goodness – always full of surprises. Psst – we’ve heard of people hunting down a stunning pair of Burberry earrings from the 80s and some Ferragamo kitten heels from the 60s.

This local classic is a heart stealer with its thick, tangy broth and finely chopped beef pieces.

Shanghai St
Shanghai St is one of Hong Kong’s oldest streets and many of its buildings and shop fronts still retain their old Chinese façade. Venture into the street with camera in hand and capture what remains as that nostalgic version of Hong Kong you love from those old school Jackie Chan movies. If you fancy yourself the next Masterchef, you’ll absolutely love this street too. Each turn is a store selling everything from bamboo steamers, Chinese-style wooden chopping boards and even baking utensils.
Star Street
The Star Street Precinct situated right between Admiralty and Wan Chai is where all the hipsters will tell you to go. Littered with an eclectic mix of vibing cafes, lifestyle boutiques, bars, street art, and galleries, you could easily lose yourself wandering through the many nooks and crannies of this creative street.
